I haven’t posted in some months, I’m not very motivated. I can’t tell if anyone besides my mom is actually reading this, instead of finding the picture files via google.
Commenting would really encourage me to post more, I have tons of trips and pics.
Here is some SF awesomeness:
These are from inside a building down by the embarcadero
These are the buildings surrounding the complex, pyramid building in the distance.
A pretty flower tree
Down at the piers behind the ferry building
I’ve heard people really like this ferry trip
I even saw the Giant’s mascot, a seal
The bay bridge
A skywriting plane isn’t an uncommon sight on the weekends in this metropolis
The ferry building and its clocktower
One of the original hands (it was extensively renovated years ago)
They turned it into a lively market
With fun shops like this one
And lots of fresh produce
Out in front was the financial district, with its tall, stately buildings
This is a very important building in California history
Southern Pacific was one of the big, corrupting, railroads, but it contributed significantly to the economy and development of this state
I need to find out when this was built, very intricate
Down in the bart transit station, they display the ropes found during its excavation. The area was built on the remains of ships in the harbor!
Ultra modern offices
Such a sleek look
How many styles can you identify?
Pyramid peaking out
This is the tallest building in the city, 555 California
This fountain is preventing Apple from relocating its store onto union square. It is public art/open space that they are having a hard time replacing
It has scenes from all over the city, this is the dome at the palace of fine arts
And twisty Lombard street
The skating rink and statue in union square
Inside a large store was the biggest tree ever
The ceiling had a scene from sir francis drake’s landing
Too cute, no?
Can you tell we are in the middle of the city? This is a parklet, taking up some former parking spaces
A new tall residential building in the south of market area.
A bay sunset
And the sunset from my office in Sac, much better, no?
